Ontario Immigration Nominee Program – Processing Times

The Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) has generously provided approximate processing times for most of their OINP streams. As of September 2017, the OINP is taking between 30 to 60 days to process applications for Express Entry – French Speaking Skilled Worker, Express Entry – Human Capital Priorities, International Masters Graduate, and Employer Job Offer – Foreign Worker and International Student Streams. All applications that have been received for the International PhD Graduate Stream have already been processed and the Express Entry – Skilled Trades Stream is taking less than 30 days to process.

Applications with more complexities, including the Corporate and Entrepreneur Streams, are processed on a case-by-case basis and therefore there are no set timelines for these applications. The above processing times are only approximations and each application is assessed individually. This transparency provides applicants with an approximation on when they can expect to receive a response from OINP, and also assist applicants plan their future stay or travel plans to Canada.
