Second Round of Invites for the Parents & Grandparents Program

On July 30, 2018, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced that additional invitations to sponsor parents and grandparents will be sent out this entire week. IRCC will utilize a randomized process to invite additional potential sponsors to submit an application in this second round of invites for 2018. The first round of invites this year was sent out in the week of March 19, 2018. Potential sponsors should check their email and/or look up their unique confirmation number to see if they have been invited to submit an application. Potential sponsors who have been invited to submit an application should ensure they do so by the deadline provided in their invitation.
